Refrigeration and AC technician — Humboldt County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC technician in Humboldt County, Iowa. You will work on residential and commercial sites. Day-to-day duties: • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines Ideal candidate: • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
