LGV Class 1 driver • Obio/Akpor, Rivers State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Obio/Akpor, Rivers State. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Valid digital tachograph card You will present documents at weighbridges and check posts; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars.
