Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Jefferson County, Georgia. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Your main tasks: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
