Immediate opening: marble fitter (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble fitter in Greenup County, Kentucky. You will be based in a stone processing yard. On the job you will handle: • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish You should have: • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists Performance bonus on top of base pay.
