We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Pickens County, South Carolina. You will work at a high-rise construction project. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations On a typical shift you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; assemble column and beam cages on the bench.
