Great opportunity: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Golden Valley County, Montana. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
