Urgent requirement: banksman (Tennessee)

Join our team: we are hiring a banksman in Crockett County, Tennessee. You will be based at a container port. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; read lift plans and method statements before starting. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
