Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Clarendon County, South Carolina. The job is at a cake shop. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Full-time, day shift.
