Air conditioning service engineer — Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an air conditioning service engineer in Washington County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy AC installation company. The role involves: • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience 5+ years on the tools preferred.
