Rebar fixer wanted in Jim Hogg County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Jim Hogg County, Texas. You will work on a busy residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
