Great opportunity: scaffolding charge hand (Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Page County, Virginia. You will be based at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level The role involves dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
