Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Rivers State. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Day to day you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate.
