Natural gas fitter • Eilean Siar, Scotland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Eilean Siar, Scotland. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Day to day you will locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate.
