Tig welder • Botetourt County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Botetourt County, Virginia. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Day-to-day duties: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
