Milling machinist — Somerset County

Join our team: we are hiring a milling machinist in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a die and mould making unit. On the job you will handle: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron We offer $5,500 per project plus benefits.
