CO2 welder wanted in Lewis County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Lewis County, West Virginia. You will work on a structural steel site. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
