Immediate opening: natural gas fitter (Tennessee)

Join our team: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in McMinn County, Tennessee. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings The role involves: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray Six days a week, one day off.
