Refrigeration and AC mechanic — Central Bedfordshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Central Bedfordshire, England. You will work at a busy refrigeration workshop. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms You will check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays. Rotating shifts. Pay around £15 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
