Aluminium TIG welder — Dorset

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Dorset, England. You will be based on a structural steel site. Your main tasks: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
