Immediate opening: tube and fitting scaffolder (Kansas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in Chautauqua County, Kansas. What we are looking for: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment Day-to-day duties: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
