Vacancy available: joiner (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a joiner in Schenectady County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Own basic hand tools Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
