Fabricator-welder wanted in Saline County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Saline County, Missouri. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Your main tasks: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
