Urgent requirement: we are hiring a counter butcher in Walworth County, South Dakota. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day On the job you will handle: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits.
