Immediate opening: we are hiring a HSE officer in Iowa County, Wisconsin. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations The role involves: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
