Urgent requirement: gas meter installer (England)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in West Northamptonshire, England. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. On the job you will handle: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites • Able to read isometric and site drawings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. £2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
