You should have: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench On a typical shift you will replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting.
