Punch press operator wanted in Lamoille County

Join our team: we are hiring a punch press operator in Lamoille County, Vermont. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
