Concrete finisher • Steuben County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Steuben County, Indiana. You will work on a road and bridge project. You should have: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds The role involves: • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
