Requirements: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems On a typical shift you will grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes.
