Join our team: domestic gas engineer (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Buena Vista County, Iowa. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. The role involves: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances You should have: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Driving licence for travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
