General labourer • Blount County, Tennessee

Immediate opening: we are hiring a general labourer in Blount County, Tennessee. You will be based on a road and bridge project. On the job you will handle: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
