Join our team: GMAW welder (Georgia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Cook County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Full-time with occasional weekends.
