Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Issaquena County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Issaquena County, Mississippi. The job is at an oil and gas facility. On the job you will handle: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills 4+ years on the tools preferred.
