Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Grant County, Kansas. The role involves check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits.
