Immediate opening: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Saint Helena Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Your main tasks: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
