Fabricator-welder wanted in Colfax County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Colfax County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
