Great opportunity: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Roane County, Tennessee. The job is at a container freight yard. You should have: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Day to day you will plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
