Vacancy available: we are hiring a demolition labourer in City of Portsmouth, Virginia. You should have: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Day-to-day duties: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
