Milling machinist wanted in McMullen County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in McMullen County, Texas. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. The role involves: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Full-time with occasional weekends.
