Urgent requirement: lift mechanic (Minnesota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Polk County, Minnesota. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On a typical shift you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; run load and overload tests with test weights; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Valid driving licence for site call-outs At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
