Vacancy available: stainless steel welder (New Mexico)

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Socorro County, New Mexico. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
