Urgent requirement: press operator (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press operator in Central Bedfordshire, England. Day to day you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
