Immediate opening: rebar installer (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar installer in Scurry County, Texas. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
