GMAW welder — Rijau

Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Rijau, Niger State. The role involves grind back and re-weld any defective runs; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
