Lift installation engineer • Marion County, Kansas

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Marion County, Kansas. The job is at a busy lift company. Your main tasks: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
