Immediate opening: we are hiring a frame straightening technician in Otero County, Colorado. On the job you will handle: • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly Requirements: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
