Join our team: we are hiring a crane operator in Somerset County, New Jersey. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. The role involves fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; read and interpret the load chart before every lift. Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
