Pipe TIG welder • Mineral County, Montana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Mineral County, Montana. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day-to-day duties: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
