Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Lafayette County, Mississippi. On the job you will handle: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Pay around $250 per day, based on your experience.
