Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Peach County, Georgia. The job is on a busy residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Rotating shifts.
